The annual HP conference went off without hitch this year in the Nation’s Capital. A five man team included specialists in the industry who spoke on topics of importance to the ICT community.
Server & Converged Systems Sales Specialist, Jakes Jacobs, introduced a fresh approach to infrastructure management emphasizing new storage technology, while Tony Pomeroy, HP Storage Specialist, discussed HP storage options for PNG.
Daltron’s own Presales Consultant, Nigel Hackney, explained HP Big Data Solutions touching on electronic content management solutions and backup and recovery.
Bill Ratcliff delivered an eye opening session themed “Restoring the Asymmetrical Advantage”, illustrating the danger of social media websites, wireless networks and the internet in general, where sensitive company information and even private information of the average person on their personal computers can be stolen and used fraudulently. Ratcliff, Senior Partner of TLR Communications, showed measures to take to safeguard oneself and/or company from malicious software and hackers.
The one day event was held at the Laguna Hotel on the 4th of March 2014.
